Help

Answers to the common questions about the waitlist, signing in, prices and the courses. Anything else: email help@readtheopen.com. We reply by email, usually within two business days.

The waitlist

Joining is free and nothing is charged. You get a confirmation link by email; open it to hold your place. We send one email when the daily read opens in early 2027. Meanwhile the first two lessons of every course, the free notes and the record are open to everyone.

Signing in

  • There is no password. Choose Sign in, enter the email address you joined with, and open the link we email you.
  • No email? Check your spam, junk and promotions folders, wait a minute, then ask for a new link.
  • If a link says it has expired or does not work, ask for a new one and use the newest email only.
  • If our emails land in spam, move one to your inbox and mark it "not spam". Adding our address to your contacts also helps.

Changing your email address

Choose Account, then edit your details. If that does not work, email help@readtheopen.com from your current address and we will change it.

Prices

The daily read costs $39 a month or $299.99 a year. Every course comes with it. The courses are not sold separately. Paid membership opens in early 2027; until then, join the waitlist on the homepage.

Cancelling

  • Choose Account. Next to your plan, choose Change, then Cancel subscription, then Confirm cancellation.
  • Your access continues to the end of the period you have already paid for.

Refunds

We do not give refunds after you buy, except where the law requires one. This applies to monthly and yearly plans and to renewals. If you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for, and we do not charge you again. See the terms of service.

Your card, invoices and receipts

  • To update your card, choose Account, then Manage billing. That opens a Stripe page called Billing info & receipts.
  • Invoices and receipts are on the same page.
  • The cancel option on the Stripe page is turned off. Cancel from Account instead, as above.
  • We never ask for your card number or a password by email.

The courses

The lessons are posts on this site. Open Method in the menu and sign in with the email address of your daily read membership to read the paid lessons. If your membership ends, so does access to the paid lessons. Questions about the method itself are answered in the course.

What we can't help with

Everything we publish is the same for every member. It is education and commentary, not advice about your account or your trades, so we do not answer questions about your own positions. Futures trading carries substantial risk of loss. See the risk disclosure.
